Now Open: TV’s Inter-Association Events Nominations for BRTA and MDJTA teams
Bayside Regional Tennis Association (BRTA) and Moorabbin & Districts Junior Tennis Association (MDJTA) are calling for nominations to compete in the Tennis Victoria Inter-Association Cups for under age tennis players during the 2020 year.
Each year both Associations come together to enter teams in the following three events:

Each event requires 2 boys and 2 girls per team who compete in singles and mixed doubles round robin format. Players must be of the age (or under) as at the end of the month in which the event is competed.
The Associations will conduct selection trials which be held at Dendy Park Tennis Club Sunday 23rd February, 2020 starting promptly at 1.00pm for all three events. There is no cost to participate in the selection trials and we encourage any interested players to give it a go. Win, lose or draw even the trials are a valuable tennis experience for players. Once nominations are finalised a suitable format will be advised. It is anticipated the trials will finish between 3.30 – 4.00pm. Tennis Victoria Officials will be in attendance. Association selectors will select the team based on trial results, attitude and age groups. No player will play in more than one team providing there is enough nominations to field the teams.
Players selected consider being part of the representative teams to be one of the highlights of their tennis career. The Association covers entry costs and supplies uniforms to players. Team members receive a pre-match training squad and tennis gift packs at the events. The friendships made as part of the teams endure for many years.
