For the second year running BRTA will provide player support at the Warrnambool AMT and Gold Junior Tour event in Warrnambool 27-31 December, 2019.
Last year the Association worked with Centenary Park Head Coach Kim Davis and this year we are proud to have Paterson Lakes Head Coach Grove Bennett available to support all BRTA players at the event.
Grove did a great job with both Alicia Molik Cup teams this year and will be running a squad style session in Warrnambool on the afternoon of 26th December (time to be confirmed) which is free to BRTA players to acclimatise the grass courts. Grove will also be taking daily warm-ups, will advise on cooldowns and maintaining your physical condition throughout the event. He will also help with pre-match tactical advice and post-match reviews. Given he is only one person and this is a service provided by the Association we can’t guarantee he can be all things to all people and his availability will depend on the numbers utilising his services.
Any players interested in utilising Grove’s services and play in a BRTA competition can register directly with Grove to be kept up to date with information. Grove Bennett: firstname.lastname@example.org
In a feedback session with parents they expressed to the BRTA committee that one of the things they value most at tournaments is coach support at the event. While we can’t do every tournament we try to do our best. Any coaches that would be interested in attending another tournament in support of BRTA players should make an application via the contact form.
