Wayne Arthur Cup team undefeated on Day 2

Under sunny Kooyong skies 6-7 April 2019 both the MDJTA and BRTA 10 & Under teams enjoyed a great weekend of competitive tennis.  This was the first major tennis event for most of the children in the team – many who haven’t started playing tournaments yet.  As a result, despite playing some great tennis on Day 1 they were a bit overawed by their more seasoned opponents.  After a night to recover from the excitement of their first day both teams returned to Kooyong to win their final two matches.  Of the sixteen Associations competing MDJTA finished 5^th and BRTA 9^th which is a highly commendable effort from young players competing in representative competition for the first time.
